PANews reported on May 5 that Chainlink announced the launch of a new community rewards program, which aims to incentivize LINK token holders to participate in cybersecurity through staking. This initiative is part of Chainlink Economics 2.0's strategy to enhance the cryptoeconomic security of oracle services. Chainlink's staking mechanism allows node operators and community members to stake LINK to support the performance of oracle services and earn rewards. The latest v0.2 upgrade expands the total staking pool capacity to 45 million LINK, which is 8% of the current circulating supply, increasing the opportunity for more LINK holders to participate.
