French police arrested the mastermind of a Crypto Assets kidnapping case, a 24-year-old Franco-Moroccan dual national.

According to Deep Tide TechFlow news on June 5, as reported by Decrypt, French police have arrested a 24-year-old French-Moroccan dual national who is accused of being the mastermind behind a series of recent kidnappings of Crypto Assets millionaires in France. The suspect, Badiss Mohamed Amide Bajjou, had previously been issued a red notice by Interpol for charges including kidnapping and extortion.

According to reports, he is suspected of being involved in the planning of a kidnapping case that includes Ledger hardware wallet co-founder David Balland. The French Minister of Justice expressed gratitude to the Moroccan authorities for their cooperation in this case, stating that it demonstrates the close judicial collaboration between the two countries in combating organized crime.
