Someone lost all Pi, Pi price dropped more than 8% after closing KYC
As noted on Pi Network communities, some people after not completing KYC have lost all their Pi. Notice of loss of ownership of Pi is sent from the system. Mr. H.T., who has mined nearly 350 Pi, said it was lost when he could not complete KYC at step 8 (đây is the final step to see if users are approved to complete KYC or không). The system has destroyed all the Pi he has exploited in the past time. Sharing on a Pi Network forum, Mr. Q.H said that his friend in Indonesia lost all Pi in both mining accounts of 868 Pi and 1518 Pi respectively. If calculating the current Pi price of nearly 1.6 USD / Pi, this person has lost about 60 million VND. Besides, many people also lose 20-50% of Pi; due to co-miners in the system not completing or not performing KYC steps as prescribed. Notably, some people are also charged a fee by the system to change their name to match documents to complete KYC operations. Mr. N.T lost 20% of Pi to change information, the system deducted directly from the pink Pi (Pi self-declared thác) in the account. For those who complete KYC, they also cannot sell immediately, but also have to wait for the approval system to pass the 9th step. This is the step that Pi miners call queuing up to get through the mainet (đưa Pi from the wallet to the exchange to bán). The passed Pi is also not the entire wallet, but will be unlocked in a certain amount based on the mining time. Shortly after conducting the user verification operation this afternoon, the price of Pi suddenly dropped by as much as 8% and is currently trading at $1.58 per Pi. According to an expert, because people after completing KYC have sold Pi mainet on cryptocurrency exchanges, there is such a price reduction.
